Wool Needle Felt Pumpkin

Join us at the Owensville Historical Society Museum on October 11 at 1:00 PM sharp for a cozy, hands-on wool-felting workshop led by our Project Director and design artist Monica Rosselot.

Participants will create a charming felted pumpkin-slightly smaller than a tennis ball-using heritage felting techniques and soft wool roving.

Attendees may choose between two delightful styles:

• Primitive Pumpkin - a simple, rustic, traditional form inspired by early American folk art.

• Character Pumpkin - a whimsical pumpkin with sculpted facial features such as cheeks, nose, lips, and expressive eyes

Both designs are beginner-friendly, highly tactile, and wonderfully fun to create.
